PRISM with Cantori New York
Cantori New York joins forces with PRISM in a riveting evening of international music for chorus and saxophone quartet. Cantori’s artistic director Mark Shapiro conducts North American premieres of works by Hugi Guðmundsson (Iceland), Giya Kancheli (Georgia), and Erkki-Sven Tüür (Estonia). The program also features folk songs from Col0mbia, music by Astor Piazzolla, the Argentinian icon who redefined the tango, and the Beatles.
