PRISM Quartet

Donald Sinta Tribute Concert (Ann Arbor, MI)

The PRISM Quartet performs on a concert honoring Professor Donald Sinta, a seminal American saxophonist and pedagogue who retired from the University of Michigan after nearly 40 years of teaching. PRISM soprano saxophonist Timothy McAllister succeeds Prof. Sinta in 2014.

PRISM performs Above by Matthew Levy; Steamboat by Michael Daugherty; and Name Day by Tim Ries, with Ries and Andrew Bishop joining PRISM on tenor and alto, respectively.

Other performers include the Donald Sinta Quartet, the Moanin’ Frogs, Cliff Leaman, Carrie Koffman, Robert Young, Jonathan Hulten-Cohen, and the University of Michigan Saxophone Choir.
